Heart Of Colombia is more than just a retreat; it's a testament to visionary Steven Foord, a master craftsman renowned for his intimate understanding of design, carpentry + community. He meticulously handcrafted this villa over a decade ago. What began as his personal sanctuary evolved into a place where his passion for architecture intertwined with deep respect for the indigenous culture and the natural beauty surrounding him. His desire to create unforgettable experiences + enhance community coalesce with giving back to the sacred populous that have had his back from the beginning.
Since 2005, Steven Foord didn't just live on this land; he became woven into its fabric. This tight-knit circle is not just neighbours; they are family.

This is has always been a creative space and we encourage guests to come and use the space to launch, design and bring to fruition your dreams or passions. We operate on the ethics of Social Impact and wish to cater to a full circle experience. When you come, know that every staff member is an actual family member to us, and is treated in every element like so. Colombia culture is a very special presence to be a apart of, know that there is so much Attention to Intention in the lives of those who will be making your experience possible. This is a space of Respect + Love.
Our Goal + Mission
We soon will be launching a program for teachers / leaders to come + get a free stay with us in exchange to be with the children of San Agustine. We will be welcoming different backgrounds of education. From learning to code, regulating your nervous system, art therapy, sports, sciences, learning who you are... we are open to your ideas + wish to create an ongoing learning experience for the children to be very much held in the process of growing up and truly navigating being a human. You will be screened + interviewed if interested. We want to create a remarkable space and we believe in the power of the beehive effect, whether you want to come for a week or three months you would be implemented into a schedule that coalesce with other teachers so that the children know there is a steady heart beat of support that they can rely on.
